Quick Update
Since my last post I’ve performed at the Hastings Jack In The Green Festival which was 3 days of playing accordion for Morris side Rheda’s Dream and caixa with Samba band Sambalanco.
It was a joy.
I then ran an event not music related The Hastings Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) raising £8k for good causes.
I also organised another ride back in March that raised £6k and got Jack in the Green £1k so that’s £15k for charity raised in 8 weeks, not too shabby!
As part of the DGR I also got friend Ben Maier to perform and as usual he superb.
Then on to The Lord Nelson to see The Longshore Drifters who I’m playing for on July 4th at The Jenny Lind – absolutely love them, great gig! I’d love to be playing drums more often!
For now, I continue teaching piano, drums and guitar in local schools but also now teaching privately so if you or anyone you know in Hastings wants lessons do get in touch (a popular option being buying one as a gift for friend or family and they can then decide if they want to continue with more).

On Keys – Sunsetters, 27th July at The Rum Shed
On Accordion and Percussion – Gabriel Moreno, 15th October at The Crown House
